Eastern Ontario Trailblazers 4x4 Club

The Eastern Ontario Trailblazers is a non profit family oriented off-road club. We encourage new comers to the sport. We preach and practice Tread Lightly as well, we try to promote more awareness of Land issues. There are no requirements to join us on the trail except that you have a licensed 4x4 with a hook in front and back. We do however recommend that you have 31" or larger tires, winch or come-a-long, a tow strap etc. This extraction equipment is not necessary to have if you are out your first time but if you decide to join you should definately consider investing in equipment because you don't want to rely on everyone else all the time. To join our Club you must be 19 years or older and you must join us on the trail at least once before you are entered in. This is so you will know if joining is what you want, and also it will give us a chance to get to know you better. You are welcome to bring your family or friends, in fact we encourage it however we cannot except responsibility for your passengers. We have meetings once a month where we hear your views and opinions as well as club voting. Membership is $25.00/yr. This includes your Club decal as well as news letters. You also become entitled to our member advantage program ( discounts at various local businesses ). Being a member allows you to come out with us whenever we go. We have weekly runs On Sunday and sometimes on Saturday all year round. As well we have Scheduled Events that are for members only. This includes camping/4x4 trips, rallies, events with other clubs and trips to new trails in farther locations. Our main playground is Larose Forest. This forest is rich with a variety of trails. When we go through a trail if we find litter we pick it up. As well we have trail clean up events at least once a year. We feel that Tread Lightly is very important if we want to continue to enjoy our sport. Just think of the advantages of being able to experience the thrills, challenges and fulfillment of Off-Roading without the fear of getting stuck or being left alone. Trailblazing is much more fun with other people who share the same level of enthusiasm towards the sport.
